Sava Rescue Sled

 

The Sava Rescue Sled has been designed to be used in swift water rescue, ocean rescue, floods, oil rigs and ice rescue operations. Designed to be deployed quickly the Sava Rescue Sled can be inflated in minutes. The sled also has a flotation pad that can be removed and tossed to the victim to be used as a lifesaving, personal floatation device. The sled can be handled by one or two operators. Weight capacity, 880 lbs (400kg) or about 5 people.

The Sava Rescue Sled has been designed to be lightweight and compact for easy storage. Weighing only 43 lbs., it can be carried by one person. 
The Rescue Sled can easily fit in a car trunk or storage compartment on a rescue squad. The Rescue Sled can be carried into remote areas, or 
inflated and pulled by snowmobile through snow and ice. In coastal areas it can be pulled by jet-ski or power boat. The Rescue Sled is equipped 
with 3 towing eyes. It can be deployed to shallow or flooded areas to access stranded victims where motorized boats can’t go because of debris. 
-The flat bottom of the Rescue Sled offers good stability in ice or snow rescue operations.
-Bag handles make it possible to carry as shown or like a backpack.
-Only 3 PSI air pressure is needed for quick deployment in any operation. Inflation method can be customized.

Swift water rescue: Unlike larger boats, the Sava Rescue Sled can easily be rigged with lines to assist with rescue in creeks, canals and rivers.
